AMERICAN BAPTIST YOUTH - ABY

ABY is for students in grades 7 through 12. The Junior High and Senior High groups meet at 6:30 p.m. each Sunday evening September through June.

ABY activities help the youth grow in their spiritual life and devotion to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They are also designed for the youth to be an important part of the church body. They include Bible studies, service opportunities, Christian fellowship, visitation, and short trips.  Through these efforts the youth develop a closer relationship with God, each other, the adult leaders, and the church congregation. The various activities also provide plenty of outreach opportunities to include friends and the unchurched in our fellowship.

AMERICAN BAPTIST WOMEN - ABW

All women are invited to participate in American Baptist Women's Ministries. We have two "Circles" (groups for women), that meet in homes. Each circle meeting has devotions, business, and fellowship. Each circle remembers the scholarship girls, special missionaries, shut-in church members, and participates in rallies and the Love Gift Program.

The Afternoon Circle

The Afternoon Circle meets at 1:00 p.m.  Their ministry is directed towards helping others through needlework and other craft projects.

The Social Concern Circle

The Social Concern Circle meets at 7:30 p.m.  Their ministry is directed at caring for those in need.

The Quilting Guild

The Quilting Guild meets on Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m. on the third floor of the church. They have made many baby quilts as gifts for new babies in our church. They have also made regular sized quilts. They welcome all helping hands.
